Description: This is the Wheel house of the Gold Coin Mine- in beautiful downtown Victor, CO. If the Steam Punk folks miss this, then they really blew their trip. These 12’ diameter “pulleys” dropped and lifted their cargo on a flat cable to almost one-mile deep. This is truly: Victorian “High-Tech”. You can see the Gold Coin Club at extreme frame right of the main Pan.

Description: The American Eagle Mine is the site of the Highest mine in the Cripple Creek mining District. Preserved by the Cripple Creek & Victor Mining Co. it is open to the public. Ample Parking exist about 100 below the site. Measure for cable runs. It’s situation at the peak gives it massively cool vistas. The mine pit is below this historical site, but it would take some really funky camera placement to seeit: the background is all mountains and sky.
