Description: The “Great Wall of Woodland Park” This is a road cut when entering Woodland Park from East Hwy 24. A very interesting color and erosional pattern makes this a photogenic section of Road. It often has quite nice cloud shadow mottling. The amazing “ghost” car in the detail gives a good idea of scale.

Description: This is a unique structure created to stem the flow of sediment down this massive ephemeral draw and into trail creek. Right off trail creek road, it is on US Forest Service land. approximately 1 mile of great quality dirt road followed by 1/2 mile of good/fair quality dirt road.

Description: This view on Teller County Road 1 from Florissant to Cripple Creek is the backside of Mueller State park. It displays the huge granite mountain cores that create many “balancing rocks”. An actual cattle field: if Cows enjoy the view, then these are the happiest ones in Teller County.
